Notes for the Online field trip

Two teams are using tools from back then to calculate things. There are compasses. 360 degrees in a circle. Perimeter is the measure around a shape. for circles it's circumference. Radius is the center point on a circle to the outside of the circle. The used counting, and multiplying, dividing, subtracting, and adding. They also measured. The doctors and boulders used math, along with others. Teams have come the the armory kitchen. Shilling is a 12 pennies thingie. The good temp for bread in oven is 425 degrees Fahrenheit. James Anderson was a very dependent and good blacksmith. We measure in inches and feet because that was the British something. An ell is 45 inches. The mans name is Ken Swartz. They knew the oven was hot enough by sticking their hand in and judging. A chain is 66 feet The blue team one in breaking the tiebreaker so they fired cannons.
